“Skylight Wisdom,” by Aline Fourier, pen & ink and watercolor on paper
In January, 1978, my son Ari was six years old. I found him lost in thought, staring out our skylight window. He turned to me and said, “Life never splits in two. There is always life because God is always here. There is no separation between this life and the next. There is no end and no beginning to life. God is always. God makes up life. God is life. Life is still living when we aren’t here anymore.” His innocent visioning was the inspiration for this painting.
